It looks like we have between 8-10 people, i'd love to keep growing this, but it's a good start. we've made our first selection, it's DOWNTOWN OWL, by Chuck Klosterman. If you'd like to learn a little bit more about the author, here's a good place to start:

He's written some pretty funny pop culture books, I think I've read them all- but this is his first work of fiction. There's some language, so if you can hang with this book you can definitely hang with this book club.
If you don't have your book yet, you need to pick it up at Borders, or order it from Amazon. You've still got 3 1/2 good weeks of reading time! Yeah! It's an easy one, don't worry.
Our first meeting after reading will be March 31st, expect some wine and some good conversation. That night we'll pick our next book by vote. If you have a friend that you think would like to join but won't be getting in on this first book, please bring them with you to the club and they can start the next book with us.
